  I haven't been on any rides with this stable, but not for lack of trying. I bought a Groupon deal for a 2-hour ride here and was looking forward to checking it out. After not answering her phone for about a week, the owner of the stables curtly told me I would have to email her to reserve an appointment. I emailed her and again supplied my number if she needed to contact me quickly. After over a week of not writing me back, she emailed me on Monday night saying that I should show up Wednesday morning, and to text her to confirm I was coming. I emailed her back Tuesday night saying the time would not work. Despite this, she had the horses saddled and ready Wednesday morning, was angry I didn't show, and informed me that as far as she was concerned I'd had my appointment, so she wouldn't refund my money or give me the ride I had paid for. When I tried to tell her that there must have been some misunderstanding and I had never confirmed the ride, she got verbally abusive. Um, no. This is not how reservations work. You don't just TELL people when to show up and call it an appointment without any response from them. I got a refund from Groupon that I will be spending somewhere that has some sense of how to run a business and how to treat customers with respect.
